Patrick Pothier (Pat), along with his wife and partner in service, June, proudly serve their community as members of the Ventura Downtown Lions Club. Now they are dedicated to serving the communities of District 4-A3!
Pat has been a Lion for more than a decade. He has held many key leadership positions including Secretary, 2nd VP, 1st VP, Committee Chair of the Veterans Committee, and President of Ventura Downtown Lions, as well as being a Region Chair for the district.
Pat’s leadership extends beyond his own club. As 1st Vice District Governor, he is serving on the district’s Global Service Team (GST) and Global Leadership Team (GLT), and on MD-4 Long Range Planning, Global Leadership, International Convention, and Hospitality Committees. He is a Guiding Lion for the Port Hueneme Lions Club and a recent graduate of the Faculty Development Institute.
As President of Ventura Downtown Lions Club, his club was recognized as 100% Club, Large Club of the Year, and as District 4-A3 Number 1 Club of the Year.
Individually, Pat has received numerous awards including Rookie of the Year, Lion of the Year, 100% Secretary (twice), 100% Pres-ident, Kay K. Fukushima Fellow, Melvin Jones Fellow, MD-4 Leadership Award, and the International President’s Award.
Outside of Lions, Pat is a proud member of the Ventura Chamber of Commerce, Elks, Moose, American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) organizations.
