Jason Laird, a resident of Ventura, proud-ly serves as a member of the Ventura Downtown Lions Club and an associate member of the Oxnard Downtown and Ojai Valley Lions Clubs.
For more than two decades, Jason has been a member of Lions International, commencing his journey as a Lion in Wisconsin, then Iowa, and now California. Throughout his tenure, he has held pivotal roles, including Club President, Membership, Service, and Marketing Chairperson, and has served as President of the Ventura Downtown Lions Cottage Home Foundation, along with fulfilling the role of Secretary.
His leadership extends beyond the local level, having served as Multiple District 4 Marketing Chairperson, District 4-A3 Region Chairperson, and as both 2nd and 1st Vice District Governor.
Jason’s service has been recognized through several awards, including the International President’s Commendation Award, MD4 California Lions Clubs International Excellence Award, The Fourth District Student Speaker Foundation Fred W. Smith Fellow Award, and the International President’s Award.
Besides his involvement in Lions activities, Jason finds fulfillment in parenthood, supported by his dedicated partner, Tara, who shares his steadfast commitment to serving others.
